I have a intel Advanced/ML that i ordered off ebay but i noticed something strange, part of the parallel port is bent and it can't fit in any cases, it turns out that there's a brass standoff screw brute-forced into there and it's a PITA to remove. any tips of removal? it still POSTs though and boots to DOS and Windows.

A picture would help. Offering advice without seeing it would be foolish on my part. Vise-Grips always work for me 😁

Hate posting a reply and have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. 🤣 Second computer a 286 12Mhz with real IDE drive ! After that came 386, 486, Pentium, P.Pro and everything after....

i just bent the parallel port back into shape with pliers and it finally fits into the ATX case fine. i just didn't bother and made do with that brass stand-off.

heres a pic, the brass stand-off is on the bottom of the parallel port on the picture and theres a bit of a bend.
