Good day folks.

Messing around with an old socket 7 setup and trying to get some info.

This is an MTI or M Technology R540 board. Apparently also known as MIG-R540. Intel TX chipset.

Has a couple jumpers but most settings appear to be handled by 2 dip switch blocks. The settings for SW2 are silkscreened on the board and those are 6 switches that control the bus speed and the clock ratio. Currently using a K6 233 at 3.5 x 66 and all is well.

I cannot see any info anywhere for vcore. I’m assuming this is the 4 switches on SW1 but there is no other info on the board.

I’ve scoured the internet to no avail. So I’m hoping someone may have a manual or at least info on SW1 or voltage.

There are other models with similar model numbers (539, 541 and so on) but this model seems to be the unicorn and the only one to use the dip switches instead of jumpers.

The K6 is supposed to run at 3.2v and so far I have no issues - though I have no way of knowing if it is at 3.2 or 3.5 or anything else. But looking to mess around with benchmarking some other CPUs so it would be helpful to know the correct settings.

Cannot find anything online aside from 2 or so crummy pictures of the board.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks y’all!
