Hi guys,

I picked up a IBM PS/1 Consultant model 2155-Z33 awhile back I'm looking to eventually do something with. CPU is a removable 486DX-33.

I haven't been able to find too much documentation on this specific PS/1 model, so I am wondering if anyone knows what CPU upgrade options I might have? Thanks!

Awesome find, thanks! Looks like I can do an overdrive like I was hoping. Also answers some questions I had next on cache.

Just be sure to go with the i486 66MHz overdrive (P23T) and not the Pentium overdrive (P24T) as the later will require a new BIOS EPROM (FRU 07H0997), which will probably be near impossible to get hold of these days. You would probably have to find someone that has a system with the newer BIOS and get them to copy the EPROM.
