Hi, i have a Compaq Presario 5330, originally it has an AMD K6-2 400AGX (100mhz *5.0) in a Mustang-s MB (SiS 530 chipset and onboard vga graphics with 8mb), 256mb dimm.
Today and later days, i was playing Quake 2 in software render in 320x240, version 3.20 with 3D!Now Patch at 23 fps (before patch, 18-19 fps), i dont really want play at 640x480 o higher, or in opengl.
Today update the CPU, a AMD K6-2 500AFX, everything is fine, just Quake 2 now cant reach even 17 fps, similar games like Quake or Duke3D decreased fps too
Someone knows what happend?
Or maybe the poor performance is because the onboard vga graphics?

Thanks, my english is not very good.
