I don't know if there is a thread for old hardware identification, so I'll post it here.

I have saved these expansion cards from the local recycling center a while ago (don't remember why). Can anybody tell me what they are and/or where they used to belong ?
The one with the DB25 I think it's a parralel + game card (couldn't find any info about it).
The one with the DIP swithces, I have no idea what it is.
The one with the ribbon cable seems to be a MFM controller (couldn't find any info about it).

Top left is a 8bit Serial+Parallel+Game port card. The top right looks weird. Bottom one does look like some type of HDD controller. Interesting stuff !!

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Upper left is a standard i/o card with two serial ports, one parallel port, and one game port.

The upper right card is some sort of data processing or very special networking card. No idea what exactly, but most likely useless.

The large card is an ESDI controller. Not for a PC it seems, however.

Is there a way to find the jumper settings for the parallel card (googling "456A" is not that helpful) ?

It looks a lot like this one: http://www.uncreativelabs.de/th99/i/I-L/53911.htm

Judging by the parts (ETAL P1200 line matching transformer, Motorola MC56001 DSP), the card with the DIP switches probably has something to do with ADSL.

The modem chipset is V32, 9600 baud max. No idea what the CL63045 is. Cirrus Logic?
