Hi, all! I got my hands on two Socket 3 mobos that don't have a model number or any jumper description written on them. Does anybody recognize these models?

The first one (all photos are clickable)

I tried booting it, but it only gave me beeps when I used some RAM it didn't like. Once I've changed the RAM it stopped giving me any kind of feedback. Also tried different DX2 chips. I assume there could be something wrong with the way it is set up.

The second one

Top one looks sorta like a Biostar / Bioteq motherboard. Can you pull the ROM and save an image of it ? Even using a bootable NIC and uniflash to get it would be a help to hex edit and read the Award BIOS string. The bottom board has no ROM so that won't help with it....

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Look for something unique in the layout of your boards and start comparing to the images under "Socket 2,3. 486 "

I have the MH TH99 library on my HD and looked thru all the pics, none matched. A few were close but the jumpers were off. I think the BIOS string off #1 will be easiest way to find that one, or at least narrow down to the company.

Tried that — no success. I'll try dumping the BIOS tomorrow.
