Hi guys! Rescued this bad boy from the trash heap yesterday and sad to say it worked great when I first got it. I was trying to get Midi working in Windows and I somehow fucked up the CDrom drive. I'm guessing it happened when I used the WinSetup.exe in the soundcard folder. Cause now it just refuses to read any CD's and even freezes up when I try to access it in Windows without spinning any discs up. I'm guessing I've caused some sort of conflict but I'm not sure where to begin sorting this mess out since 486 era stuff really isn't my expertise. 🤣 Does anyone know where I can get the original diskette images to try and restore the sound card settings? Or any other help would be greatly appreciated. 😁
