Anyone have any advice on what software to use for stress testing the platforms mentioned in the Subject ?
Ideally maybe some links to some bootable floppy images with said software on that I can just put on a Gotek formatted USB stick ?
Do you mean like long term component stress tests or something more specific?
I Just bang 3dmark99 on a loop for a few hours. Of course that is thorough testing but is a good enough indicator for me.
HI don't know off a all in one stress test tool for such a old system. However memtest and prime95 are good tools. 3d mark will put a good load on the computer too. but not what I would call a stress test.
I think what i need is an old version of memtest on a bootable floppy image ?

Can that also stress the GPU? A better question to ask Xs1nX would be if he needs to stress the GPU as well.
Just want to stress the CPU/Memory.. but mostly the CPU to check thermals as I have some wonkyness with the heatsink fitting on the socket 7 setup and i need to check for decant contact.
