i dont have the original power adapter but i have some 16v 7.5a power adapters from hp AIOs
what is the pin out of the connector and the power adapter? (+, ground), it doesnst seem to work with connecting in the way it says.
it appears in your picture that the two leftmost pins are Positive (+) and the two rightmost pins are Negative (-).
Looking on Google, the images found for the adapter of your laptop have the same information: 2 pins are +16V, the other two are ground:
