For example:

Compaq Prolinea 3/25s did not turn up, I get lots of the 4/25s and others. I had to carefully drill down and find that. Even ebay did have two of these model if I carefully craft and change country but it did not turn up parts for these especially 386sx based made by ibm and compaq especially late models that used 25mhz.

Even ebay may hide some models that I'm interested in like compaq 3/25sz.

That makes me worry that not all are searched properly.

I did also get poor results with intel server board based on two cards using processors and two memory cards. I have not yet found the pdf of this manual. Nec, Fujitsu, NCR and Dell used this board.

Is there a way to have better results next time I need to search for my research?

Hmm I just copied+pasted Compaq Prolinea 3/25s into Google and got some links, some included ProLinea 3/25zs, some include 4/25S. So you are looking for exact matches ?
There are ways to do exact searches thru Google like using double quotes (https://support.google.com/websearch/thread/3544867?hl=en)
Am probably way off but due to changes in how new browsers +html works if the exact name is not in the metadata then certain webpages that have lots info may not show up when searching.
Has been an issue for at least a few years and gets worse as time goes on when looking for old info. Anyone with a better explaination please correct me.

This was, but something got worse with time. The changes to the search algorithm had changed.

Google has been getting progressively worse since the early 2000s...

Ebay seems to have changed something in their search that causes it to revert to the standard search settings even if you specified additional options in advanced search. If you then go back to advanced search and redo the settings, it will work again for a short while.
