I'm looking for any kind of computer that's reasonably priced with an AMD Elan SC520 processor (based on the AMD 5x86) to test and benchmark. Could be a Point of Sale machine, a system on module, a PC/104 board, or ideally the official Customer Development Platform. Since it's not found in consumer PCs, despite how widely it was used in industrial settings, I'm having a lot of trouble finding one. Does anyone have an idea where I should be looking?

I've been interested in the chip for nearly two decades now but have never acquired one, and examples I have found online with this CPU seem to cost literally thousands of dollars. That seems silly for something I'm sure industrial users have been throwing away when they upgraded to something newer.

I'd love to know how it compares to the AMD 5x86-133 it's based on, given that it has much faster memory (PC66 SDRAM instead of slower FPM or EDO), but has no ability to use L2 cache.
