Does anyone know if there are any laptops or luggables (even prototypes) with color plasma screens? I'd be very interested in something like that but so far I have only seen laptops with orange plasma screens. Ebay and google searches haven't turned up much. Did color plasma screens not exist until the big HDTVs started appearing?
I’m fairly sure that some existed as I recall reading about it in computer magazine way back. It wasn’t a laptop but one of those bulky brick shaped portables and the screen was very small. Don’t recall brand or year, but remember being in awe because of the words “color plasma”, I had no idea what plasma was at that time 😀

Interesting! Sounds like a Dolch portable? Did a quick google search and found Dolch PCs with orange plasmas and color LCDs, but no color plasma. I wonder if it was a prototype that never made it to market.
