hi,
an excelstor 40 GB HDD is jumper to 32 clip but I want back to 16 head mode the BIOS not regonize it, only with jumpers set to 32clip

Computer is modern Pentium 4.
Nothing to do wiht BIOS 32limit.
I want go back to normal 40GB mode again.

HDD not regonized in 15 or 16 head mode when jumpers set to this mode ( jumpers on back)

Computer detect all oher HDD's 200GB, 400GB..... but no this one

Try leaving it as 32GB, boot with Super Fdisk and destroy the partition, jumper it back to 40 and see?

Problem Found !!!!

It was that silly jumper that makes bad electricaly contact.
It's fully working !
