Gerber files attached. I just whipped this up in about 20 minutes, so please review before sending to the fab.

Looks good here, in ViewMate ..

Please use the "quote" option if asking questions to what I write - it will really up the chances of me noticing 😀

When you have a good source, share that vendor with the class. Thank you!

Ok, I ordered from three seperate vendors. I won't share the vendor because of hoarders, but I'm happy to send it to whoever needs one for the price of the chip and a stamp to your country.

Nice mod 😜

Here's my idea..

p2b-front.PNG

p2b-rear.PNG

Any chance it can be built and ordered for real? Seems a pretty slick solution...

I'll do it at some point. But I provided the gerber files so anyone can send it to a place like JLCPCB or PCBway to be fabbed. It should be around $2 for 5 boards + shipping costs if you do it. Then all you need is some male and female 2.54mm pin headers and a single 10k-ohm 0603 surface mount resistor.

Problem is, I have no clue of what your are saying, let alone answer to any type of question that the fab would say to me regarding the pcb I need...
I am a total dumb in electronics I can only give money to buy things....

ugh.. Ugh...

It is much easier than you think. For example, go to jlcpcb.com and click the "Quote Now" button on the page. It will then take you to another page where you click the "Add Your Gerber File" button. Upload the ZIP file that I attached a few posts back. Then select the PCB color you want, and checkout/purchase it. That's all there is to it.

Can't wait to see updates on this thread.

Are the two little cables normal??

Just an update.
While waiting for your very nice piece of hardware, I learned the hard way that my two P-III 933MHz won't run in SMP with the P2B-D, because I have not the proper slotkets... Apparently there are not suitable slotkets for coppermine/smp (apart legendary Asus S370-DL of course).
Correct me if I am wrong, hope I am.

Took 10 year to find a decent and 100% functional P2B-D 1.06 BR03, just to find it is useless.
Very sad...

MSI 6905 ones can also be used with small modifications, ver 2.3.
Also if wanting to use Coppermine just buy Slot1 CPU's, no point messing with S370 ones.

Many 3Dfx and Pentium III-S stuff.

S370 Coppermines just tend to be more available than Slot1's ..

Sent four emails to them without any answer.
Not so friendly to say the least...
Plus it says 2.x meaning it can easily be 2.0 to 2.2, so perfectly equivalent to the 3 Super Sloket III I already have that do work in dual but with Mendocino only

You are likely right. It seems you need a [version 2.3] with a 4-pin configuration on jumper 3 and even then correct functioning is not guaranteed.

Wiretap you are the hero I am waiting for right now.
Let the world know when you end up with your tool and be prepared to take my money...

For the moment I have this getto solution with two Mendocino cpus
