Hi all,
How easy would it be to add a DB15 gameport to an old PII motherboard with an integrated ES1869F chip?
Looking at the pinouts for the ES chip here:

I can see the Midi serial in and out are on pins 58 and 59. I don't care about joystick functionality at all just midi out via the DB15 port.
What I'm not sure about is what resistors (and any other electronics) I would need between the ES chip and the DB15 port for the Midi out line?
Looking at other soundcards, it looks like just a resistor typically sits between the sound chip's midi out and the gameport.
