Would anyone be able to kindly point me in the right direction for a compatible CD-ROM module for a Gateway Solo 2100 laptop? The unit I have has a swappable 3.5 floppy disk drive.
I happen to have one in my Gateway 2100 Solo. It's missing the front panel but it works. It has a p/n sticker: 5500444.
Inside it's actually a Toshiba XM-1502B, but that alone won't help much as it has a connector and caddy that is no doubt custom to Gateway (?).
I'm actually looking for the internal 3.5" floppy for the same, if anyone has one.
