I'm adding a Syba IDE/PATA to CF Adapter to my ASUS P2B-D based system. I'd like to use it to have a pure DOS and W3X option.

Would anyone be able to recommend a reliable CF card to go with this setup? It will just be used to boot up into DOS; no other OSes.

I had good experiences with a Transcend 4GB 133x card.

Works great for DOS 6.22 but it feels a bit slow under Win9x.

I ended up using a Transcend TS2GCF133 2 GB card.

On my first attempt DOS 6.22 installed, but would not boot. I then used a 98SE boot disk, wiped the partition and then did an fdisk /mbr. Installed DOS again (this time letting it configure the 'hard disk' itself) and now no problems booting.
