So I have this very nice Soyo SY-D6IBA.
It runs perfectly with (almost) any dual combination I have.
But my only viable dual Coppermine setup is with a 1.1GHz pair.
And while the board recognizes a single CPU (Gigabyte slotkets, as I have 2 identical) in any of the slots just fine.
But as dual I get a black screen, nothing.
As far as I know there's nothing in a slotket that would prevent dual operation?
I've tried other slotkets too, but no dual combination works.

Any ideas? =)

Which Gigabyte slotket - I assume one of these, though neither seem likely to support dual Coppermines

Quite the contrary.
Most slotkets don't do dual.
What is the exact model you have ?
Search around, there is enough info about the subject.

Got the "GA-6R7+" model.
And it seems you are correct.
Got a few different MSI variants which seems easy to mod.
And also one ASUS S370-DL, with official dual support.

So weird that they spent time making dual Celerons work but left out the P3's 🤣

Tho I'm not liking the mod.
The wire is is a tad to exposed for my liking and I don't wanna goop it up with hot-snot either.
At least I know its working.
I'll try and find me another ASUS adapter =)

Performance scaling seems decent too.
Does my Lightwave 3d "Mustang" render in 36s compared to 55s single.
