Hello,

Do you know what's the best CPU supported by the Abit PGA370 adaptator rev 1.1

I only see a photo of the backside. Given the PCB date is 31st week of 1999 it is from before Coppermine PIIIs were released so I assume it is only compatible with S370 Mendocino Celerons. They are avaliable up to 533MHz.

It's strange because the previous owner wrote p3 733 on it.

The version 1.0 of this slotket was released somewhere in 1999 and from the photos it looks identical to this version 1.1. The fastest cpu that is (without modification) supported is a Celeron Mendocino 533 with fsb 66.

There is a dutch review of this slotket on page 137 here:

The only way to get a bit more juice out of it is to run a Celeron overclocked to fsb 100 but you need some luck with the cpu as well as with the motherboard.
