Hey fellas!

I've been messing with this little laptop for a while and i've failed to install Windows 98.

So i've installed Windows XP and i could see some old games are not working properly (my main idea is to use Windows EXCLUSIVELY for gaming and Linux for productivity, which i still need to make the GPU work properly) despite being soft on hardware requirements, altough some 2000/XP era games like GTA 3 are working fine or close to fine.

I'm seriously thinking in downgrading for Windows 2000 SP4 for better compatibility and better performance in general.

Speaking on that, any form to use DOS on this machine (since Windows 2000 is not DOS-based, like XP)?

Any audio and video apps recommendation?
PDF reading?

Anyone tested ReactOS?
Is it worthful JUST for Web Browsing?

I'm sure many will disagree with me, but my experience trying to do something different than running paint or solitaire is more blue screens than actual windows.

Can't deny it.
Only now i've noticed ReactOS is far from Beta.

Isnt that a VIA C7 ? so there are no Windows 9x Drivers.

The Chrome GPU has no proper drivers for current linux variants.
And Binary Driver also was never good (older Distributions only)
