Over the past year or two, I've noticed that whenever I use my Startech 35BAYCF2IDE CF-to-IDE adapters with these SanDisk Ultra CF cards on older platforms (2000s-prior), if multi-sector transfers are enabled in the BIOS for the "drive" (i.e. the CF card in the adapter), weird issues under DOS and 9x become apparent. I was wondering if anyone has had similar issues with their CF-to-IDE adapters, and whether there are adapters and/or CF cards that actually do support multi-sector transfers without issue.
