My friend gave me an old Acer travelmate 230 and I couldn't find any drivers for windows 98 for it online i was wondering if anyone can help me find video, sound and chipset drivers for it?
You won't find any official package/download because the 230 series laptops came originally with Windows XP.
You can identify the components, for example Intel VGA 845 and search Win98 drivers for it (by Intel, not Acer).
I don't know if all the 230 models have exactly the same components, I have a 230X.
Believe the audio may have been the Cirrus Logic Crystal SoundFusion (CS4299)
