Hello,
Today I got a XFX RADEON HD 7870. After I put it in my 775 system (ga ep45 DS4 with x5470) it shows some abnormalities on the BIOS boot screen and other low resolution screens. For example small white or red dots in letters or where no dots have to be. This doesn't occur in Windows XP (800x600).
Do I got a defective card? Or is it something that I can fix?

It's possible the memory is damaged, but who knows. You can try some stresstesting with OCCT in Windows and see if anything changes.

😒 damn... I already wrote with another guy who had these small artifacts and it turned out that it was memory failure...
