Hello everyone, recently got this board in the mail as my 440BX 98 PC with ISA support. Now I got some info off the seller which is good enough for me but as in exact specs of what I can push on this board is unknown. I have searched to find not many manuals. Does anyone have an archived link or old website that shows off the information on this old motherboard including my similar revision. Lastly the seller was showing that he got a 1 GHz Coppermine Pentium III working in this system, it shows 133 MHz FSB which confuses me, I will link pictures below. I have this same type of CPU and wanted to know if there are any adapters for slot 1 boards that go up to 1 GHz. If the MB info and everything else is possible that would be awesome, thank you guys for your time, have a nice day/night 😀

There are a number of socket 370 => slot1 adapters (aka slotkets) that can handle Pentium III cpu's with fsb 133 up to 1GHz. The better known/reputed ones are listed in this PDF file but they are not very common.

There are also a number that do the same but do not come from 'famous' background.
There is currently one on offer on Ebay:

The majority of the other slotkets on Ebay are from an older generation and cannot handle Pentium III cpu's without modification.

Found no explanation about different revisions from Acorp archives, in fact they have 3 diff chipsets listed on the boards description page page: http://web.archive.org/web/20000302220725/htt … ts/pc/6bx81.htm
The BIOS you have is the latest for that board using the 2MB flash rom: http://web.archive.org/web/20020621144604/htt … BIOS/BIntel.asp

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
