Does anyone have the latest BIOS for PCChips M701?
I need this file but there is no working link for it:
( 03/25/1997 ) 7010425s (PCChips) (22 / 04/1997)

I thought I was going to be able to help, but this link I found some time ago to the old PCChips website has working links for almost all PCChips boards, but not for the M701 BIOS.

That page from 2006 shows 7010325S.BIN (114KB), so my guess is that PCchips did not have a 4/25/97 release for the board or removed it or else in 2006 would show it.

Found this on the Amptron Archive ! the PCChips M701 / Fugu Tech M701 / Amptron PM-PRO1000 are all the same according to specs and BIOS info.

"PENTIUM PRO --------------------------------------------------------
PMPRO-1000 BIOS REVISION TOP
FILE NAME: 100325.zip
RELEASE DATE: 3/25/97
Contains AWFB52B.exe, & 100325S.bin. This file will upgrade your Award bios to version 3/25/97.
Make sure you have downloaded the correct file for your motherboard and have read the warning at the top of this page before flashing your bios."

Link was dead but thru some tricky archive searching found it: 100325.zip
7zip says no errors so it should be OK. Attached

Edit: web link was bad, fixed stuff

When UH19 is done upgrading the database/major overhauling I'll add this stuff in here:

Thanks. Checked with hex editor and : of 131,072 bytes 131, 043 are identical
Only these changed are: string "PMPRO-1000" deleted from Amptron and null (hex 00) replacement in PCchips,
and at end of boot code: ..[...04/22/97... in Amptron replaced with M.[...04/22/97..@ in Pcchips.
Technically they are the same and should work the same on any of the boards.
To bad PCchips did not just change the PMPRO-1000 with M701 or similar 🙁

We have modbin for that. I'll add both models in the sign-on when uploading it since we found they are interchangeable.
