Edit: it works great.

Do you see any cache memory ?

Maybe these empty socket can have some ?

Im surprised 1.84 processor benchmark is very low, maybe because it has a math coprocessor and its confuse this utility if im remembrer correctly ?

I tried Keen 4, it runs ok, a few hiccup during gameplay, but im surprised menu loading is so slow. My 386dx33 runs menu flawessly.

Edit 2: Moon Patrol is still too fast 🤣! It still froze in beginner level. But works in Champion difficulty.
I wont buy a 8088 soon, but do you think a 286 at 8mhz, 10mhz or 12mhz can help for this game ?
( i can runs it better with my p2 233mhz with disable cache, my only pc that runs like a 286 with disable cache.)

The 386SX is just a slow CPU, especially at 16mhz, it's a bit slower than a 16mhz 286 (but more capable with its instruction set). There is no cache on this board. Cache wasn't common on 386SX platform, it was mostly a DX thing.

Can you please take a clean picture with all the expansion slots empty so we can add it to uh19 ?
Taking a photo of the POST screen would be helpful as well for identification (dumping the bios would be even more useful, I can give you the program you need for that)

You could try one of the classic slowdown utils on that, like the AT_Slow utils here... http://www.ittnnet.com/downloads/AT/at.html

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

A lot of them that are popular on here are for slowing 486 or pentium machines so might be too slow with a 386sx16, so I thought those ones would be more the right ballpark.

The utilitie work great , i found a newer version at 4.10. In this new version you can select mhz for the cpu instead. It works really good for most 8088 games, i tried a lot of them. But Moon Patrol still froze at any parameter. All others games works very good, better than ever. Thanks again.

Thanks 😀

There's probably a turbo header on your motherboard too

Thanks a lot for this information, i found the turbo header by myself. I checked with Landmark LM20 and Sysinfo6 and i got 4.5 on sysinfo6, exactly like a 286 8mhz at cpu. It seems that turbo cut the mhz speed by half, thats great and help with several older 8088 games. I wont forget it, i will post my motherboard information soon.
Thanks again.

Hi! I had some free time. I took the pictures you need ( PC booting with bios info and motherboards without isa cards and cable ) see below

I could not dump the bios, uniflash was not working, it says no pci bus.

Hope you enjoy and can add it to the database.

( If you find a way to dump the bios i will make it later in a few days, i have to work a lot in the next days)

Edit: ( If you find some info about the motherboard jumpers and switch or bios update, let me know thanks )

To dump the bios, use this : http://cd.textfiles.com/microhaus/mhblackbox3 … MORY/GETROM.ZIP

And thank you very much for the pictures 😀
