Hi all. I have an old PC I'm trying to get online, and I dug out an old network card I had in storage thinking I had a 3com, but I'm pretty sure it's not. Just says EtherNet Combo, and the PCB has PN 4851 on the back. I did some searching online but came up empty. Anyone recognize this card? Thanks.

Those AMD network cards are pretty good. I have some HP Night Director PCI cards and they work out of the box in just about every OS.
This one might be auto detect in Win 3.11 WFW.

Nice ! I have an AMD based ether card somewhere.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

generic card using the giant AMD C-Lance chip. Lots of them around. very much a reference design card. Very compatible too, good cards. solid drivers.
