I need to know if any of these cards actually work, when NOT in Windows etc, and without any driver needed.
Like when you are in the BIOS or at POST etc, or when installing an OS for the first time (when USB does not work at all due old OS/modern mobo).

Like when you want to install Windows 7 on a Ryzen motherboard.
And no USB connectors work at all during install.

Yes, I know there are 'other' ways of doing that, but wanted to see if these types of cards could be a much simpler solution instead.

If you have sucessfully used a similar card in a pre-Windows environment, please let me know, and where exactly to get one of the same model etc.

PS: I would normally just have bought one and tried myself, but is too much money to waste if they turn out to be useless for my purposes...
