I am building a retro XP gaming PC. I installed XP on a 7200 Toshiba 1TB HD with no issues. I also have a Hynix Gold S31 512GB SSD that isn't doing anything so I tried copying the install over to the SSD. XP starts but crashes with a quick BSOD flash and reboots. In safe mode, this happens right when the mup.sys driver is loaded. I also tried doing a fresh install on the SSD which went fine but same issue when booting up.

Given everything is fine with the normal hard drive, this seems to be an issue with the SSD and either this motherboard or drivers or something. Looking for some ideas on how to try to get around this as I am hoping to use the SSD if I can.

Thanks!
