Short Story
Based on the notes of Bios 6.20, could I install a TFT screen from Toshiba Satellite 330CDT the Toshiba Satellite 330CDS ?

Long story:
Bought today a Toshiba Satellite 330CDS untested. Got home and the screen is broken (and hard drive dead), but then everything else is fine. I read that some laptops is really difficult (or outright imposible) to change DS (dual screen) or variant, to TFT. But then i went to search for drivers for the laptop, and thanks to dynabook. com (what a great company) and found on the BIOS update :

Version 6.20 06-11-1998
A countermeasure was taken to eliminate the shifting of a single pixel line which occurred when the Sharp (800X600) TFT LCD was installed

So it could be posible to make the change?
