can i get some advice.. my 386DX40 is having its cmos cleared everytime i power off now.. so i guess my battery is kaput
its soldered onto the mainboard im pretty sure has beginner signs of corrosion but nothing serious but obviously i want to get it out of there ASAP before it explodes on me
ive never done this.. i have a soldering gun but not the right kind of soldering gun, not sure how comfortable i am trying to do this even
is there anyone that does this kind of thing as a service in Ontario Canada in the GTA?
i dont want to screw it up 😉
