Figured it out, POD has it's own WT/WB pin which is out of the 486 pinout. I think it's intentionally shorted to ground in socket.

Time to mod the board! 😁

Got lazy, I'll just use POD in my Asus PVI-486SP3 and Am5x86 on that QDI.

BTW, my AT PSU failed, PG signal is 0V but all the voltages seems to be good... Anyway, swapped another PSU and now that QDI takes 50MHz bus speed fully stable (Am5x86 is 3x50) with memory set to 'fastest' in bios! Before it was almost stable so PSU was bad.

Test it with Doom benchmark. For me, every diagnostic tool was happy, but with doom, i found my 32MB 60ns sticks to be unstable with "fastest" option.

Oh yes, I have run Doom benchmark many times, gives about ~1370 ticks. I'll run again today to get exact result.
Quake gives 16,9fps.

Display card is Cirrus 5434 VLB.

I'm using one 32MB 60ns stick.

BTW, one test I have been using to test stability is Machines of Madness demo: https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=312

Only thing i can say to you then is congratulations! 😀

I should take a closer look at my PSU, too, and recap the whole board. Maybe i can also get some speed out of my 486 beauty.

Try an old Linux as stability test.
It has different access pattern to the L2 cache than DOS applications.
