I just discovered that an old external CD drive I have is actually a 7-disc CD-changer, and I want to know if it works.

Sadly, it appears to use SCSI, and I don't know much about that bus other than it has several generations, and that my Sound Blaster 16 has an internal SCSI port.

Can the NEC Multispin and my Sound Blaster work together if I were to get an internal-to-external adapter cable, or should I get a new controller card?

I'm gonna say, yes, that will work. and if somehow it doesn't work, it should.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

You should be able to use your existing card with the adapter.
