I've squinted at it for quite some time and fail to notice any difference. And it's a better fit than the other one, compare the jumper area north of the socket.

It says there, "Used in Gateway 2000 computers..."
Is it a P4D-66?

The cache chips, well, the fixed ones from Paradigm are 32k x 8 - I'd assume you'll need the same geometry in different package then? Don't know that per se, but makes a lot of sense to me.

The Dallas RTC module seems to be socketed, which is nice. Get a new one for a tenner.

I never got the keyboard port working. He game me another of the same motherboard which wouldn't boot at all. I returned both to the seller (though never got a refund) and cut my losses. He did say no refunds. Instead I am play dos games on a Pentium motherboard (M525) with Moslo if it needs it. So far I am happy. I really wish I could have gotten it working but I as yet lack the technical knowhow to diagnose and repair motherboards.
