I am trying to get the pc in question back into operation, but having no information on the chipset I could only verify the presence on the data bus and on the addresses, The strange thing is that only with the memories on board (2MB) the post stops at 0F -10 while if I add a ram it continues up to 1E-1F and stops, without making any beeps.

If I remove the memory chips on board (I suspect they have some problems) does the system boot only with the additional ram?

In your experience, do you need two ram to make it work in addition to the onboard ram?
