Hi guys,

I am having the issue that after a fresh DOS and Win 3.11 installation Windows won't start. I already formatted and tried the installation again two times but I couldn't resolve the issue.

After I type in the win command I get to see the Win 3.11 boot logo but then, after a while, I get the error message "Cannot load or find KRNL386.EXE".

Any ideas what the reason might be and how to resolve it?

A bit more information needed -

Some general PC specs & what version of DOS is installed?

It's a Asus 486sv2gx4 rev 2.1, 66Dx2...

I just figured out that for some reason my SideJr Pro VLB card is causing this issue. After switching it for a Promes Tech EIDE2300 Plus windows boots up just perfect.

Any ideas why this might happen with the SideJr Pro card?
