Hello all, I recently acquired and repaired a Compaq Presario 1220 laptop. I am looking to restore it to a factory original state and have scoured around the web for recovery disks but have came up with nothing, In fact it seems there is a lack of information on this specific model of machine, (I will contribute what I know and have learned by dismantling two of them below) I am wondering if anyone has the disk and is willing to make a ISO of it and/or has a link to a ISO of it. now on to the information about the computer
The Compaq Presario 1220 series 2940A 203/205 is a Cyrix GXm 200MHz socket7 based laptop from about 1997 - 2000
It came stock with 32MBs of ram upgradeable to a max of 96MBs
A silhouette 32160-GEN-01 2.1GB 4200RPM IDE HDD
A 20X CD-ROM (if it is the Toshiba XM-1062B version it can read CD-RW disks but is picky about the disks)
A 1.44MB floppy disk drive
Integrated peripherals & I/O
SHARP LM12S471 12" passive matrix HPA LCD display
9.6V 3.5AHr NI-MH removable battery

1 PCMCIA card slot
Motherboard components
A Cyrix GXm 200MHz Enhanced with MMX technology
NeoMagic MagicGraphz128ZV+ NM2097A Graphics chipset
DALLAS DS1685S-5 probably a Real Time clock with external battery (uses CR1220 coin cells) could also be a CMOS chip
SMC FDC37C669QF P I/O Controller
A Cirrus Logic CL-P06710-VC-B PCMCIA card controller
A Mitsubishi Electrics H8/3434 HD64F3434TF16 flash memory of some kind
8 NEC D4516821AG5-A10-7JF cache chips
A flashable EPPROM for holding the BIOS
It does not have a SCSI connector like Wikipedia says it does
The metal hinges are fragile and stiff if not lubricated
The wrist rest is rubberized and may become sticky with time
The power connector can be fragile if too much stress is applied
The motherboard is a damaged and is one I replaced in the laptop pictured
