Hello everyone, need your help guys

I make a Socket 7 build. Config is next - Intel LT430TX motherboard, Pentium 233 MMX, S3Tio64V2\DX + Voodoo 1

After instal Windows 95 OSR 2.1, and another drivers, i put the AWE64 (CT4520) in isa slot and put on PC, but he don't boot, nothging, only a noise from cpu cooler, hdd, and blackscreen on the monitor.

First of all, i check this card on another mobo - P2B-F with P2-450, and Windows 98Se, everythink working fine, card is initialized, system dectected, and drivers is install.

Back to Socket 7 rig - I take another ISA card what i have - Vibra 16 (CT2940), with this card computer starts fine.

I think about update bios on this mobo, find the website - https://www.ultimateretro.net/ru/motherboards/3154#downloads (god bless who make this), downloads the latest bios image, but agaaain a problme, the flash utitlity don't complete updating. Everytime, every of 6 bios images - similar problem (on last picture)

Have you cared about the jumpers for "Flash BIOS normal operation/Flash BIOS recovery mode" and "Flash BIOS write protect disabled/Flash BIOS write protect enabled"?

I try this both of this settings

1) "Flash BIOS normal operation/Flash BIOS recovery mode" - if select recovery mode, computer is stared but, don't have a any image on monitor, but i hear how works floppy, and loading ms-dos
2)"Flash BIOS write protect disabled/Flash BIOS write protect enabled" - nothing is change

Try the BIOS image linked here and see if you have any better luck: https://userdrivers.com/BIOS/Intel-LT430TX-Mo … pdate/download/

I found a live link; though there's no guarantee that this isn't the same as you already have, it's worth a try.

Just begin with the normal photo of your motherboard, configuration jumpers and all screens of current BIOS. Is your motherboard with integrated ATI video and/or Yamaha sound?

😀 Yeap, make a photo today's evening. The mobo is LT version, pure, without integrated video and sound

This isn't an OEM version of the board is it, as the Intel BIOS update versions won't load by default. What's the current BIOS string you see when the board powers on - if it doesn't start 4L3TT0X0.86A it's an OEM board / BIOS

Unfortunaly, same error with this image bios, i think the promblem is in the bios what actualy on the mobo. Because on last week i update bios on my everyday rig motherboard, and have simillar issue - Gigabyte on B550 chipset, and mobo been have a custom bios, and motherboard don't wanna been upgrade on the new official bios, until i don't use a custom flasher . Maybe a same problem here.

Anyway the images of the motherboard, and jumpers (careful, general photo of the motherboard is a big - around 18 megs)

“ 7. Resource Allocation With All PCI Slots Used
The BIOS assigns resources to PCI boot devices (video cards and SCSI controllers, for example) during POST when Plug and Play is enabled in BIOS Setup. PCI and ISA non-boot devices (network cards and audio, for example) will not have resources assigned by the BIOS during POST. A Plug and Play operating system assigns resources to PCI and ISA non-boot devices when it loads”
From LT430TX Motherboard Specification Update - https://www.elhvb.com/mobokive/Archive/Intel/ … pd_67828517.pdf
It looks like your choice to disable in BIOS Plug and Play and configure your soundcard by DOS Utility. May be this fixed in more recent BIOS’es.

The latest pics seem to confirm that it's not an OEM board after all, but an Intel retail version and from the later production runs based on the AA678039-104 / 4L3TT0X0.86A.0007.P03 basic ID info, so the Gateway BIOS file (7502875.exe) linked above isn't really appropriate for this board.

One point of confusion is that in your original post you have a pic showing the flash utility as release 2.6, but as far as I can see the latest versions (certainly the ltbio10.exe linked above by @Repo Man11 are using release 3.1) - where does your release version come from?

Try to flash BIOS from early P04 to late P10 version. Intel has some flashers incompatibility sometime (from the FAQ of my Intel TC430HX).
