I am interested in an IBM PS/VALUEPOINT DX2 model. If anyone on the forum is familiar with these, I hope to swap the CPU (potentially 5V) with a 3.3V model.

I thought the DX2 Valuepoints featured a jumper to switch the mainboard between 5V/3.3V. However, after looking at schematics on mainly ps2-kev.009, it looks like I will need voltage regulator, likely like this:

Looking here, it appears to go '21' on the diagram on page 48 of the below link (key on page 49).

Has anyone on the site done this process. Note that I am aware that there will likely be variance among the VALUEPOINT boards.
