Some times ago I designed 2in1 switcher for MSI-6168 (AMI + Award).
Later recognized that after booting with Amibios - it breaks award image. I programmed images again and disabled !WE on chip to bypass this issue.

Now I play with Nexgen PCI. It booted and next day dead. I supposed cpu/memories problems but after reporgramming bios it again alives.
Maybe someone know about this behavior? Nexgens need save bios to proper booting. I think to make dump after first successful boot and program to uv eprom or prevent !WE signalization.
