Hi there!

So, before risking to permanently damage any vintage case I have been testing a couple of products and methods from here and there on badly yellowed drive panels.

Before:

After (with non-treated reference):

I do have a couple of questions though...

The easiest one is: What is this "clear coat" I should apply to protect the plastic to re-yellow (faster) again? How would you describe it so I can shop around for it in a non-english market?

The second one is that while I think there is definitively an improvement on the panel, the result is not completely even. there are slight tone variations and AFAICT they' re not caused by the transparent film, bubbles or sun orientation (variables in my different attempts)...

So,
- Do I need to expose the parts for a longer period of time?
- Is it just hit a miss, depending on the plastic composition?
- Or is this simply just as good as it gets and you tubers just pretend not to see it when they showcase their achievements ? 😜

Thanks.
