Wondering if anyone has run into this issue before and could possibly give me some advice.
I’ve built up a modded Compaq Portable III (had a bad display then PSU died) using an AMD X2. Under Win98, Win7 and Win10 I’ve found many older games don’t respond to the directional keys, however, in any of those environments they function correctly using Notepad.
In game, the NumLock LED can be toggled but it makes no difference in allowing them to work.
I’d really like to get it working as many games use them in their main menu so even if they offer key reassignment , I can’t get there.
