The jumper fixed the id1 issue. Now id0.
I’ve now put all settings back where they were before except the adapter addresses. That must have been the problem.

Seems windows still can’t see more than 8gb
Getting 2mb/sec read and write and 14mb/sec verify with around 8ms random access time.

Now that it seems I worked out the bugs, I reassembled the gateway 2000 in all its upgraded glory!
I ended up having to change the scsi dma channel to 7 after moving the card to the psu side with a network card below it.
Can’t believe I got it to format a 128gb partition.
In fdisk it was saying 13gb but took forever to format.
I went and formatted it in windows and boom! 128gb (probably because of limitations of fat32)
I am still using a primary 8gb partition for windows 95c
Just booted pqmagic for dos and extended the 8gb partition all the way to 140gb and got this now.
I’m shocked. I thought windows 95 would never do this..

I got the chance to try a gd-5434 isa in this. (The fastest ISA video card)
Results:
Pc player 4.5 with gd5434 but 5.9 with onboard
Must be a vl bus gd-5429 as others have said making it faster because of the increased bandwidth despite being a slower gpu
