I was just about to pull the trigger on a TL866-II Plus, when I saw that the T48 was out. Notably it supports higher VPP voltage (25V, versus the 18V of the Plus) so workarounds like this would not be needed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwxCpSt-3RQ

This seems like the way to go for anyone buying today. Thoughts?

If I was to buy a new one would get it. All my TL866II Plus adapters would fit so just the bare programmer would be all I need.
On Ebay it is $59 w/free shipping from USA to within USA, 4 day delivery https://www.ebay.com/itm/195236608419

As long as it is a Genuine XGecu you should be good ! The ebay link I posted is to their main Ebay guy here but also has direct from china to other countries.
I would not trust anyone other than XGecupro if buying off ebay for their products. Just my opinion.
