Wanted to see if any one know if there is something equal now days, I been searching but can’t find anything like it.
I guess it’s a easy way to covert new keyboard to ps/2 as not all work with the regular usb to ps/2 adapter.

Unsure why it’s not called usb to ps/2 😉

I use Tripp-Lite's version: https://www.tripplite.com/ps-2-to-usb-converter~0dt60002

It's not cheap, but I can confirm their claim that it works with USB KVM switches.

There's also the USB4VC which you can DYI or you could buy assembled.
https://github.com/dekuNukem/USB4VC/

It's set up for a full Raspberry Pi, though I believe an old original will work, so you don't need an in short supply 3/4s.

It gives you PS2/AT/XT keyboard, PS2/Serial mouse, and DB15 Joystick. USB controllers can work as a regular joystick, but you can also map buttons to keyboard input so any game can be remapped, just like the Thrustmaster's did back in the day.

I'm working on a simple/cheap solution - HIDman - USB to PS/2 converter (Open Source)

It's not 100% finished yet but it will be very soon.

Looks sweet, can’t wait 😀 as long it does not cost as much as mini pc to make :p

Haha 😀 Parts cost should be about $20 I think. If I sell them it'll be for maybe 2-3x that.
