Have a Dell Dimension 4600 with what looks like C-Media FT8738-4.08E sound card. Went to the Dell website and they don't have a C-Media driver. Instead, they have Creative Audigy 2 drivers.
Tried locating drivers but so far no luck and I can't find the Dell CD anymore.
Anyone know where I can get the drivers?

Is this the onboard sound? if so Dell seems to think its a "Analog Devices ADI 198x"

If it's a add on card maybe it's not an original Dell part, Installing something like XP and doing a search of the Harwdware ID may point you in the right direction
The sound card turned out to be C-Media CMI8738 chip.

No. I didn't use Philscomputerlab drivers. Don't recall where I got them from.
