I am soon to be owner of a truly interesting piece of history.

Many know of the pentium 1 300 tillamook golden tigers but a 366 is something that I had never heard of until recently.

Obviously this is not a official intel package. But inside it is expected that a true intel chip exists.

I am expecting that in reality this chip probably has a max multiplier of 4x or 4.5x and therefore is really a 266 or a 300 without overclocking the fsb.

So claims on the silkscreen aren’t to be believed haha. Never the less, very cool.

I’ll also upload some pics of the other goodies I found. (More golden tigers)

Here is a complete list of what I have scored.

Yeah, they are super cool. I feel lucky to have such a comprehensive collection of them now (well, soon! ) :p

Check this out 😀

And this:
Tillamook 266MHz and working L2 cache?

Talks about all tillamooks really here.

But these golden fakes appear to span all pentium 1 cores.

Believe it or not I am still waiting on these to arrive. This is the second attempt to ship them by the seller. First attempt ended in return to sender. Currently on second attempt and so far so good. It shows that they finally may have arrived in my country. So hopefully won’t have to wait much longer.

Finally!!!!

Unfortunately they are far from mint condition. 🙁

But they exist.

Some careful cleaning is in order.

Also, a few have had the caps fall off. Hopefully they all work.

Never!!!

What surprises me is that there seem to be 100mhz ones.

Wonder if there are any 90 or 75s? 🤔

There was a period of time when a P75 was the only low power notebook pentium CPU, so I would bet that it’s possible unless p75 laptop chips were in normal packages.

Though, as a golden tiger I bet they would only be sold overclocked, 🤣.
