Hello all:

As I try to expand my collection of Win 98 laptops for whatever reason, I got a Latitude D810 off eBay that someone managed to shove Win 98 onto. The specs were good so I gave it a shot, but I'm having a heck of a time getting it to work properly. When I boot, it goes to a black screen, though I can hear the Windows startup sound playing. It does boot in safe mode with VGA drivers just fine. Oddly, on one occasion it did boot completely normally and the GPU drivers loaded. I didn't do anything differently.

I got a bootlog and only saw three obvious errors:
1) DEVICEINITFAILED = VPD
2) LOADFAILED =ndis2sup.vsd
3) INITCOMPLETEFAILED = sdvxd

I'm flummoxed. Any ideas for what I can do?
