Hi,
Im currently looking for manual/bios for a Socket4 VLB Soyo mobo (Opti Cobra chipset as usual), if somebody has in archive please. The jumper setting can be distinguished, but the manual can be handy anyway.
The only model in range I have found is SY-029A2, which is a Intel LX Mercury chipset, this B2 seems vanished from the records over the decades.
Digging in Soyo's web archive from 96 did not cover any S4 boards from that time.

Can you post a picture of the board ? Some early SOYO boards were ETEQ.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Have you checked this site : https://theretroweb.com/

You might find what you are looking for.

That was the 1st page where I was checking, there I have found the SY-029A2.

Thanks for the picture ! Weird that SOYO had a 029A2 as Intel 430LX, 029B2 as Opti, 029C2 as Intel 430NX.
I dug thru all the Soyo wayback archives and found next to nothing on any 029*. Oldest for a Pentium bios's found is for 31a so far

I did that aswell, so not sure if there are any records about the early Soyo Pentium models.
