As the title already reveals, iam looking for a eeprom replacement for an Macronix MX 28F1000PL

As it seems, its not compatible with an Intel P28F001BX-T or a ST SST PH29EE010. Guessing the have a different pin lay-out.

Is there a 1:1 substitute for this IC?

The MX is a block type 16kx6 block + 4kx4 (112k +16K), Intel BX-T is a block type 112k + 4kx2 + 8k (112k + 16k). The pinouts appear the same from the datasheets so if BX-T is programmed from a external programmer it should work but I quickly checked the data so maybe not..

Do you know a substitute for the MX part? Or is this the only part with that configuration?

My Mini pro TL866CS cant read the chip in almost every chip selection.. I tried different ones, but those doesnt seems to work.

Hmm maybe something wrong with the eeprom, from TL866 device list: MX28F1000P, MX28F1000P @PLCC32, MX28F1000P @TSOP32 reading the software support list.

Should this be the same:

MX28F1000P

Only difference on mine is the L behind the P (maybe its an low voltage one)
